Barbie Birthday Cake
The B is for Barbie, but is also B for my colleague whose name starts with B.. and is kind of Barbie-esque ;)

Baked as a surprise for a colleague at work, the idea was for this cake to look 'pretty' but not 'WOW' on the outside. All of the 'WOW' was to come minutes later... except I had to almost bully her into cutting the cake as soon as she had blown out the candles...
Hopefully you can see that the sponge is layered from dark to light!
Her 3 year old loved it anyway...
